Have no plan for New Years Eve? Here are some ideas to celebrate!

Watching the ball drop, the (literally) final countdown of the year, the hugging, the kissing, the new year.

But sometimes, we find ourselves stuck without a plan. Friends and family out of town, nowhere to go.

So if you don’t have a plan for this New Years Eve, here are some ideas that will make you pack your bags and go for a strawberry field walk around the United Kingdom.

With so many up and downs this year, 2016 has surprised us with so many things going from a president with no political experience at all, to the loss of so many amazing people: great musicians, scientists and some that now are within the force. (R.I.P. Carrie Fisher). Looking back on this past year, there are so many things that we should celebrate now that its end is nigh.

It doesn’t matter if you want to rock the hell out of 2016 in a bar or if you’re feeling romantic and want to watch some fireworks with your half orange, because the British surely know how to celebrate!

 

Firework Lovers at London

The Southbank annual show will simply blow your mind. You will never see a nicer spectacle! It takes place really close to the London Eye, creating great hues and color explosions. The only thing is that because is such a great event, it went from being free to ticket-only entrance.

But cheer up! You can have a great view of the show from Cannon Street, were you will save yourself around 10 euros for watching the same event.

For the romantics and hipsters at The Lake District

 

If you don’t want to disturb your inner tranquility with exploding sounds, you can always go for a stroll at Lake District. With lots of cabins and amazing surroundings that are just begging to be photographed, no filter needed.  Hiking and picnics will make your evening a memorable one, and if you find yourself missing the party scene, then there are plenty of taverns nearby with flowing champagne and marvelous beer!

 

A mixture of everything at Edinburgh

 

Music, music, arts and more music. This is what this festival is all about. With many visitors every year, this amazing show gathers some famous celebrations, top entertainment such as DJs, fireworks, rock bands and a lot of dancing! Here you will definitely have a great time with great people celebrating what is most important: the gift of celebrating another year of being alive.
