Forget the AutoMac! Bike & Beer Restaurants are what’s happening
After a long biking session you will be growling to grab a bite, or better yet – a delicious beer! And now you can do just that – this particular demand, originated by cyclists, has created a new type of restaurant. They focus mainly in providing all the amenities that an avid cyclist will need, from repairs for your bike to fuel your body with great food and beverages.
Here is a list of four places in the United States where you can enjoy like you never got down of your bike:
1. Camrock Café & Sport, Cambridge, Wisconsin.
With rocky trail surroundings, CamRock Cafe will treat you like the king of the patio. They offer a vast menu of beverages, ranging from wine to craft beer. If you’re lucky, some nights they will have live music, and they organize group rides near Lake Ripley. Your bike will be as comfy as you in their sports shop, where you can tune it up or make a quick repair. And finally, if you feel kind of sore they have yoga classes to relax your muscles for the next ride!

2. The Cannibal Beer and Butcher, Los Angeles, U.S.A.
If you’re feeling like you can eat a whole cow by yourself and never think twice on the matter, this butcher and sandwich place is the ideal spot. This shop is based on the original New York restaurant Cannibal, but with a two wheel touch. With racks everywhere, you can just stop by, hang your bike and start your feast. Important! Cyclists that show up with their professional bike gear will get a free second beer + a energy bar. With more than 500 brews, you might want to stay and party!
3. Benders Bar and Grill, San Francisco
Normally all the bars in this city will cost a fortune, but this is your lucky day: this place is dedicated to cyclists, not rich people. This dive bar became very popular with recreational cyclists, bike messengers, and post men. If you want some of the best “hipster” gourmet hamburgers, this is the place. And don’t forget you can also get some amazing tacos!
4. Peddler Brewing Company, Seattle
With almost 160,000 Seattleites cyclists, this business is really growing! To enter this place you will need a membership due to the great demand. You will find indoor and outdoor bike parking, while the microbrewery provides pumps for your tires, bicycle-themed decoration and 12 tap room where you can try some of their best beers!
Remember after a long ride you are granted food, beer and some fun! No diet, just fun. You deserve it after all that cycling.
Keep rolling till you find something you love…
