Borrowed Time: a Pixar directors’ short film that goes darker than ever

BORROWED TIME

“If someone is spending their time with you, they truly love you… time is something that they will never get back.”

Now, be prepared.  This short film made us cry. LIKE BABIES.

Time is something we’re always worried about because we’re always in a hurry. We don’t realize that is never stops, which means we have to make the most of it in order to live our lives to the fullest.

This might sound cheesy, but this clip will make you want to run and hug all your relatives and closest friends.

This isn’t any average animated short film. Lou Hamou-Lhadj & Andrew Coats, both with amazing backgrounds in the animation industry, including  Pixar and Blue Sky Studios and titles like Horton Hears a Who, Ice Age, Toy Story 3 and Brave, have gone darker than ever before:

Many of us get stuck in places we don’t like or jobs that don’t make us happy. All because of monetary “necessities”. We forget we’re only here for a few moments. “Time flies by” takes a whole new meaning when we realize we’re only living on borrowed time… Time we’ll never get back because it’s already gone.

“Memories are all that we have from the past. Keep them safe and get the strength you need to carry on.”

What do you think about this short film? Tell us!

Keep rolling till you find something you love…
