A DJ / Producer from Mexico, Bernardo Mejía, AKA Gaviño, will turn up your beat, making you roll with his vibe.

The Mexican DJ is based in Brooklyn, and has had the chance to play at different and amazing venues like TBA Brooklyn, Soho House, Villain, Verboten NY, and more.

Upon returning to his homeland, DJ Gaviño made appearances in several nightclubs, amongst them MONO, A.M. Local, and Leonor (just to mention a few).

Gaviño has played along Anthony Collins (Frank & Tony), Lauren Ritter (All Day I Dream), Holy Ghost, Classixx, Mat. Joe and many more.

In 2014, he joined up with his fellow partner and friend Private Panther (Let’s Play House), and started thorwing great rooftop parties in Williamsburg and Soho.

Dj Gaviño then got drafted to become Kultlective partners for the Without Walls crew, which got them into a residency in places like Botanic Lab, Chloe 81 and Max Cellar.

“My favorite spot for DJing was a rooftop party in soho it had a great view and the Empire State was in my back, playing along with Private Panther, a great DJ and good friend.”

After finishing his bachelors in music production at Dubspot NY, Gaviño now enjoys music by producing his own ~amazing~ grooves.

 

He would love to play at Sonar in Barcelona an Le Bain at the top of the Standard Hotel in meat packing NY.
