Magic is in the air. Or rather, in the food.
We found a hidden entrance to the magical world of Harry Potter in the middle of Mexico City. It is disguised as a restaurant, but it’s filled with surprises and things unexpected.

El Mesón de los 3 Magos is definitely worth a visit.
Its name, which translates to The 3 Magician’s Inn, originates from the golden trio: Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Thirsty? You can order whatever suits your fancy from an extense array of Potions.
Ranging from the classical butterbeer, pumpkin juice, basilic venom, polyjuice potion and even felix felicis!
You can find the Weasley’s flying car next to red phone booths.
Climbing the stairs is like following the Marauder’s Map.
And eating here is like dining at the Order of the Phoenix’s headquarters, with the family tree painted on the wall.
You can even dine with Lord Voldermort.
If you’re a Death Eater, that is.
Or try to get away from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named on your Nimbus 2000.
Accio, broom!
Concerning the food, there’s all sorts of entrées (Snitch wings and Fenix’s nest).
Anyway, we got down to business and ordered a Buckingham salad.
A mystical mix of lettuce, cherry tomatoes and cheese.
We also ordered a Panini Los 3 Magos.
They even have spells written on them!
And of course we couldn’t resist trying the famous butterbeer.
De-lish, by the way.
And we also had a glass of refreshing pumpkin juice.
Made from real pumpkins. We swear.
And a REAL chocolate frog.
It EXPLODES in your mouth. It’s wonderful.
If you want to buy magical utensils, like wands, shirts, quills and knick-knacks such as a Time Turner, there’s also a store on the bottom level.
You can even get Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans.
And if you feel like taking the easy way out, well…
Let’s just hope it really leads to the Ministry of Magic.
It’s a wonderful family-friendly restaurant, where Harry Potter fans of all ages will enjoy the food and the ambience.
After all, it is magic.
You’ll find this wonderful spot hidden on Andorra 16, Benito Juárez, Del Carmen in Mexico City.
And if you want more information, make sure to check out their Facebook page.
Expecto Patronum!
Keep rolling ’til you find something you love…
