Photography means immortalizing a piece of yourself in every click.
And Mary Lule, a sports and landscape photographer, inmortalizes a piece of herself by pouring her heart out in every shot.
She has a keen interest in traveling. This allows her to treasure and keep all the great moments she lives, featuring family, landscapes, seas, snow, roads and ~ of course ~ FOOD.
For her, capturing these special pictures is a way to appreciate life, but also to share it with others.
She started out practicing several sports – from crossfit to running marathons – and began to realize that in order to preserve those amazing moments, she needed to capture them.
“A picture makes me remember all the effort and the triumph, immortalizing the feeling I experienced.”
By sharing these moments with others she wants to make heads turn towards God – helping Him in this way is her purpose.
Mary believes that in the outdoor world even the light becomes tangible, whether it’s on someone’s tears or laughter, a hug or a bent knee, or even the sway of clouds and the way stars shine.
“This is why I prefer to take sports, travel and outdoors pictures.”
To be a photographer, one must always contemplate and take everything in. A simple photograph must go beyond itself, which is why she always tries to capture what she feels – passion, gratitude, and empathy.
Her work has been displayed in several venues in Cuernavaca, Morelos. To name a few: the Hotel Misión on September 2016, the Museo de la Ciudad de Cuernavaca (MUCiC) on October 2016, and an upcoming event at the Instituto del Deporte.
She was also interviewed by Pulsart, a digital magazine:
“I would like to tell everyone that you don’t need to be afraid to shine, you can be the light God wants you to be”
