This race was no exception.

They took the traditional 400-meter race and turned it into an endurance day.

How, exactly? By adding a 37-degree inclination at a 7,000 feet (2,100 meters AMSL) altitude. Competitors have to race bottom to top in a ski jump ramp at Park City, Utah. No piece of cake.

Sarah Hendrickson, a former ski jumper athlete, was very excited. Since she’s been down that ramp many times while skiing, she thought it sounded great to try it the other way around.

Hyperventilation and cramps are a couple of the normal symptoms you’ll suffer when participating… Do you have the guts to try it?

Stay tuned at www.redbull.com the next race is on September 2017.
