Tasker, a mobile app for your friendly neighborhood handyman, is revolutionizing home maintenance in Mexico.

It all began when Roberto Coste, founder and creator, went out for a walk with a friend. When they got to his friend’s house, the key broke inside the lock. Without a way to open the door, they started looking for a locksmith anywhere.

After three hours of waiting around for the locksmith, Roberto came up with an idea.

Tasker.

It’s like Uber, but for calling “the guy”.

Next to his amazing co-founders, Javier Flores and Pablo Cárdenas, the app began to take place.

Plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, painters, etc. All in one swift swish of the thumb.

The app has been running for one year now, and it has been a booming success.

It even has an immediate response chat for users.

Every handyman on Tasker has been evaluated and has no criminal records, which ensures anyone that they’re bringing someone trustworthy into his or her home.

Aside from breaking these trust issues, Tasker also takes credit or debit cards – no more cash problems for any user.
