It might be painful to watch. At least it was for me.

But we need to be raise consciousness on the problems we face nowadays. Sensitizing audiences to these particular subjects might not be enough to save our planet.

We are destroying the dream of those who don’t speak “human”. But we can also become their voice, fixing this awful reality so they can keep dreaming.

Christopher J. Gervais, is a scientist with a pure love for earth’s environment, who dedicated decades of his life to different academic institutions and natural museums.

wildlife conservation film festivalAfter conducting a research study in Pleistocene Mega fauna and their fossils, he realized the importance of preserving biodiversity. This led to the creation of WCFF.

He became one of the pioneers in underwater vertebrate paleontology research, where he had to obtain a certificate in advanced scuba diving with NAUI, PADI, SSI and NASDS with over 2,000 dives.

 

With the dream of making the world sensible in the importance of conserving our planet, he founded WCFF in 2010 using his life savings!

But he didn’t stop there. Today, he’s a philanthropic supporter of conservation organizations all over the world, President of the International Exploration Society (IES), Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, a Board Member of the Pet Philantropy Circle… just to mention a few.
